Best Mediterranean in town! We dine in and do takeout. Super fun evening atmosphere. A little tight on space but that makes it special when the music starts. Reservations for sure.
I had a gyro plate with falafel and tzatziki sauce on the side. I also had the baklava. The food was prepared "to go" as I was in the hospital and my friends delivered it to me. Therefore, no impressions on service or ambiance. Everything I had ordered was delicious!!!!
Dametra Fresh Mediterranean is a mandatory stop when we visit the Monterey area. This place is the perfect fast-casual lunch spot, especially if you want great food but are limited on time. On our way out of town last week, we enjoyed an amazing lunch at Dametra Fresh. I love the "Plate It" option where your pita comes on the side, and you get to pick your choice of meat and a few sides. The ingredients are always fresh. The portions are generous. And, the food is authentic and tasty. Add this place to your California Coast restaurant rotation. Enjoy!
Wow! Amazing eggplant (smoky, and tasty). The gyro plate was delish with the lamb and beef being tender and the rice was flavored underneath. The spanakopita was flaky and also packed with delicious inside spinach and feta. Service was immediate and wow what a fun dinner time atmosphere. They encouraged us to dance with the live music. The musicians and singers and service was exceptional. I'd come back again!
Came here with my love and it's just like I remember he enjoyed the food. Really delicious. Must have any time I'm in the area.
